Engineering and Operations:
• Deliver solutions on-time with high bar of quality, and continuously improve systems

Qualifications of resources:
• 5 to 7 years of experience in infrastructure and platform management and automation
• 3+ years of experience working with one or more of the following Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud services: EC2, EKS, EMR, ECS, S3, SNS, SQS, Cloud Formation, Cloud watch, Lambda
• 2+ years of experience using Python and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Experience of addressing compliance and governance requirements of a complex organization.
• Documentation of Engineering Solutions and Designs.

The work you’ll do
- Consult with clients (internal developers) on the best practices and system design of our AWS environments
- Work as a key and integral part of our Cloud Engineering team on AWS infrastructure buildouts
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, teaching others to do the same
- Setup and secure infrastructure/network environments within AWS Commercial and GovCloud
- Install, configure and monitor various Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS)
- Setup High Availability and DR environments in AWS
- Maintain the highest level of security to meet our compliance requirements
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of relevant experience working with cloud technologies, preferably with AWS
- Security and Compliance experience, such as but not limited to: HIPPA, PCI or CJIS, as well as the ability to pass background and fingerprint checks for ongoing security clearance
- Experience with designing and deploying AWS (or comparable) Services like Elastic Compute (EC2), Storages (S3, EBS, EFS, Glacier and AWS Storage Gateway) and RDS.
- Demonstrated experience in storage encryption with both data at rest and data in transit
- Programming/Scripting experience with Java, Python, Ruby, Go or other relevant languages
- Experience with creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity or Gitlab
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- AWS or comparable cloud certification(s)
- Security+ certification
- CISSP certification
Job Description
Limited domestic travel and/or occasional relocation to multiple client locations nationwide to design, develop, test, maintain WebServices, SQL Server, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, CSS, JavaScript, LINQ, C#, Angular, NLOG, applications in multiplatform environment. Troubleshoot existing architecture/applications.
Education and Experience
EDUCATION
- Master’s Degree or Foreign Equivalent in Computer Science or Related Field or Technology or Related Field or Engineering or Related Field.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Foreign Equivalent in Computer Science or Related Field or Technology or Related Field or Engineering or Related Field.
EXPERIENCE
- 1 year of experience in the job duties if you have Bachelor degree.
- 5 years of experience in the job duties if you have Masters degree.

In this role, a typical day will include:
- Supporting IT Governance Review of proposed technical solutions
- Assisting in the development of and reviewing enterprise system budgets
- Formulating strategic planning documents for IT systems
- Maintaining content on various SharePoint sites and provisioning users with access to content as required
- Communicating with IT systems owners and related staff to discuss and clarify submissions to the Governance Board
- Preparing presentations for and presenting to senior level audiences
- Writing and updating project charters and project documentation
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- BS in an Information Management or similar IT or business field
- Minimum of two years related experience
- Experience supporting an enterprise architecture or IT governance program as a business analyst
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to write about technical subjects
